Waterproof?? Can I mount this in back of truck?

Asked by: Jodie
I wouldn't call it waterproof. There are no seals on the lid and if you have power cords going the the power cord hole, then that is an opening. Submerse them and they will fill. But I have had half a dozen of these sitting in the weather for two years with air monitoring equipment inside them. The only water that has gotten in has been when they were open during rain.

Can you better define "closed height"? Does this mean the total height of the container from ground to the top? Or is this the total storage space within the container if the container is closed

Asked by: Mike
It's from the ground up with the lid closed.
