Model 4830 - How close can it be to a wall and still open?
I need to bolt a 4830 box to a work deck. How close can be to a wall and still open the top all the way?
The cover should sit at a 90 degree angle. You would need about 4.5" between the box and the wall to open the cover.

What is the NMFC# used for this Knaack Box 4830?
I know the freight class is 85 but what is the NMFC# used for this specific Knaack Box? All I'm able to find on the web would consider this a Metal Tool Box NMFC 39790-08 Freight Class 85 but I'm not sure if this is correct.
The class (85) is used for billing purposes by the carriers. The NMFC, is a description of what falls into that category, So 29790 would equate to something about metal boxes.

Used as a battery box
Would like to use this box as a battery box for batteries.
would like to know if they are sealed shut that will not let any gasses from my batteries escape or would I need to vent it?
We cannot suggest using any of our products to store batteries. Batteries have a tendency to leak/explode. In addition, temperature can rise inside our boxes specially when closed.
